How to Join our Meetup Group
To build a strong community around this hobby and facilitate gathering together at in-person events, your profile must meet the following requirements:
Name
Members have personal accounts with names matching how they introduce themselves in real life. For common names, an identifier like a last initial, last name, or other anything unique allows us to differentiate between accounts. |
Photo
Members have profile photos that show their face clearly to allow recognition at in-person events. |
Interest in Modern Boardgames
Members share an interest in learning and playing modern boardgames. If you're new to these, check out the Games page to learn more about how they differ from other types of games you may have played. Profile questions ask for your favourite boardgames, your willingness to learn modern boardgames, and your BGG username if you have one (it's encouraged but not required). Your answers are visible to all members to connect over shared interests and help coordinate games at specific events. |
