Toronto BoardGamers on BoardGameGeek
BoardGameGeek (BGG) is possibly the best website for boardgamers. It's a database of boardgames with user contributed content like ratings, videos and rules questions. You can research games without creating an account, but creating a free account lets you manage your game collection, rate games and post in the forums.
Our BGG guild allows you to find group members who own, want to play, or trade a specific boardgame.
BGG Guild
Our BGG Guild provides a way for anyone to be notified of major announcements and special events even if they are not a part of the meetup group or have disabled meetup notifications. It also provides a discussion forum for people to arrange their own games outside the scheduled events, and allows us to review the game collection of guild members.

Change your RSVP for an event
If you can no longer attend, let the hosts know and free up a spot for someone on the waiting list.
For the first option, you can look at the meetup profile of attendees of this event. If they include their BGG username, you can find them on BGG and look through their collection of owned games by going to https://www.boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/SaraCV?own=1&subtype=boardgame&ff=1 (changing "SaraCV" to whatever username you want to check)
The second option is fun but less helpful for a specific event. Join our BGG guild: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/guild/2563 then click on the "Collections: Browse" link, search for a specific game, and you'll find links to the profiles of people in our guild who own it, so you can find their name or message them on BGG.
