Before the covid-19 pandemic forced us all online, our calendar was full with 5 weekly events and 2 biweekly events. While we're anxious to return to in person gaming, and we're hopeful that the positive impact of vaccinations continues, we are still not ready to encourage strangers to pass cards, pawns and fake money back and forth.
Thankfully, there are so many online gaming platforms that it's easy to find opponents for any game at any time of day, without the restrictions of physical geography. While it's far from the same experience, it gives us the chance to chat, play old favourites and keep up with some new releases. To protect everyone from COVID-19, we have cancelled all our in-person gatherings. It's hard to predict when it'll again feel safe to host public, social events again. BoardGameArena is a well designed site with a great selection of games!
It supports both live and async play and allows time limits to be set and enforced within games.

It is free to create an account and join any games, but some games are considered premium which means a paid account is required to create those tables. A premium account also provides other fun functionality like creating tournaments and providing advanced game stats.
