Our Platforms

Each of the following platforms serves a specific purpose for our group. You don't need to join and become familiar with all of them. Start with the meetup group, as that will give you access to our calendar of in person events. Then, explore the other options at your own pace as a way to further explore this hobby and stay connected with local folk between events.

Each title below contains the link to the applicable site. Additionally, we are working on creating guides for the more complicated sites and will hopefully have those available soon!

We recognize that navigating a variety of platforms can be confusing, but it is unfortunately not feasible for us develop a custom site that would compare with the functionality of all of these sites.

In person events are posted on the meetup calendar, and this is the site where you can RSVP to, and discuss games that will be played at, these events.

Meetup is our primary site and the most important one for anyone interested in our group to join, as everything else supports the community developed at these in person events.

BoardGameGeek Guild

BGG is the best place to research games, manage your game collection, rate games, and find answers to your rules questions.

If you find yourself wanting to explore the hobby further, I'd strong recommend checking out boardgamegeek.

Our BGG guild allows anyone to find group members who own, want to play, or want to trade any boardgame.

Here is a guide to using the BGG guild.

Discord Server

Chat about games and find players for digital games on our discord server.

Discord Usage Guide

Facebook Group

Our facebook group is another place to discuss game opinions and arrange private/online sessions if you don't like using discord.

Twitter

It's not really used, but I'll link it here anyway since it exists.

Digital Boardgames

Playing digital boardgames is another great way to stay connected to the community, try new games, and explore new strategies. While it doesn't compare to the interactions of playing boardgames over the table, it's easy to find opponents for any game at any time of day, without the restrictions of physical geography. Here's a guide to some of the digital options.
